FOUNDATIONS ENSEMBLE
Ages 7–11 · Prerequisite: 6+ months of private lessons or 2 seasons of Foundations of Music
Foundations Ensemble is where the magic happens—where musical exploration turns into real band experience. We believe that playing music together is essential. It’s more fun, more inspiring, and the most powerful way for kids to truly connect with music.
In this performance-based class, students rehearse weekly with their peers, develop core ensemble skills, and prepare for a live show at the end of the season. Guided by one of our expert teachers, students build confidence as they learn to listen, collaborate, and play as a group—while exploring musical concepts like rhythm, harmony, playing in key, and improvisation.
