Foundations of Music

Ages 6–8 · No experience required

A fresh take on our original Foundations of Music class, this program is designed for absolute beginners who want a fun, hands-on introduction to music. Students explore rhythm, melody, harmony, and musical creativity while getting to try out multiple instruments in a supportive group setting.

Through engaging activities like call-and-response, group movement, and simple ensemble play, students build listening skills, experiment with improvisation, and develop musical confidence. The session ends with a casual performance for family and friends.
